Barbecue Shrimp and Crab 

Just like most things New Orleans, this dish is a bit different as this delicious barbequed dish ain’t got nothing to do with your grill sittin out back. Get out your skillet and fire up the flavor for this one.

 

Ingredients

  • 1lb crab legs

  • 1lb shrimp

  • 4 green onions, sliced

  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

  • 1 lemon, sliced

  • 2 pounds medium to large fresh shrimp, unpeeled

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • 3 sticks butter

  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh rosemary

  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce

  • 6 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 bay leaves

  • ¼ cup white wine

  • 1 cup water

  • French bread for sopping up goodness

 

Instructions

In a large skillet combine rosemary, lemon juice, lemons, water, Worcestershire, black pepper, garlic, and Creole seasoning and bring to a boil. And crab legs, cover and steam for 10mins. Remove cover and reduce heat to medium high. Add shrimp and white wine cooking shrimp until they turn pink, about 1 minute on each side. Reduce the heat to medium low and stir in butter, a couple cubes at a time. Stir constantly adding more butter once the butter has melted. Pour the contents in a bowl and serve with French bread for sopping up the awesomeness.
